Dr. Rachel Epstein is one of a very select few of board-certified dermatologists on the West Coast of Florida who is fellowship trained in Mohs micrographic surgery, the most effective and precise treatment for certain skin cancers. After residency, Dr. Epstein went on to complete a prestigious one year ACGME procedural dermatology fellowship in Mohs, reconstructive and cosmetic dermatologic surgery. She has successfully completed thousands of Mohs surgery procedures with advanced reconstructions. Dr. Epstein has been recognized by both her peers and her patients for excellence in her specialty. She has been named as Patients’ Choice Award and Compassionate Doctor Award. In addition to her work with patients, Dr. Epstein has been the recipient of national awards for her lectures and has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks.

EDUCATION
Dr. Epstein earned her Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology and Exercise physiology with a minor in Chemistry and Art at the University of Miami. She then completed medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, graduating with highest honors. Following medical school, Dr. Epstein completed an Internship at SunCoast Hospital/Largo Medical Center. She then became co-chief resident, completing her dermatology residency at Largo Medical Center/Bay Pines VA. Dr. Epstein then went on to complete a highly competitive Procedural Dermatology Fellowship emphasizing skin oncology, Mohs micrographic surgery, laser, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery.

In addition to her artistic eye and surgical precision, Dr. Epstein values her patients’ trust and comfort. She is dedicated to delivering the highest level of care to her patients in an ethical and compassionate setting.
PERSONAL
In her free time, Dr. Epstein loves spending time outdoors and traveling. She is an avid fitness enthusiast and enjoys pilates, barre and yoga. Dr. Epstein is a former junior olympic swimmer and junior national triathlete champion. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her husband and their three young children.
EXPERIENCE
Dr. Epstein has served as an Academic Instructor at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine and is a Volunteer Instructor for Nova Southeastern University. She has a passion for teaching medical students and residents procedural dermatology. Dr. Epstein maintains active membership in several professional societies to ensure she is at the forefront of dermatologic treatment and research.

Anna Shaw, MSN, APRN, FNP-C
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner & Advanced Injector
Anna is passionate about building trusting relationships with patients while delivering high-quality care. She has 15 years of experience in cosmetic and medical dermatology. Prior to her career in cosmetics and dermatology, Anna gained five years of experience at Tampa General Hospital in the medical intensive care unit, the cardiac catheterization lab, and the post-anesthesia care unit as a Registered Nurse.
EDUCATION
She completed her B.S. in Nursing at St. Louis University and her M.S. in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of South Florida. Anna is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the Tampa Bay Advanced Practice Nurses, National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
PERSONAL
When she’s away from the office, Anna loves spending time with her family and friends, as well as swimming, cycling and practicing yoga. She feels fortunate to be able to practice medical and cosmetic dermatology in the beautiful Tampa Bay area.

With over 20+ years of nursing experience and a specialization in Dermatology, Casey Viera is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner committed to advancing skin health through compassionate patient care and innovative clinical research.
EDUCATION
Originally from Upstate New York, she earned her undergraduate degree from the State University of New York at Oswego and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Tampa. She is a proud member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners.
EXPERIENCE
Casey performs comprehensive skin examinations and treats a wide range of dermatologic concerns, including skin cancers, acne, rosacea, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis, and warts. She welcomes both pediatric and adult patients to her practice.
COMPASSIONATE
Casey’s clinical focus is in medical dermatology, with particular expertise in systemic treatments for chronic inflammatory conditions such as psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. In addition, she has also been actively involved in dermatologic clinical trials, allowing her to remain at the forefront of emerging therapies and provide her patients with access to the latest treatment options.

Susan became a licensed cosmetologist after completing training at the Institute for Laser Medicine in New York. Susan has over 30 years of experience working in medical spas and with prestigious skincare companies. She provides customized treatments that target different skin concerns such as acne, hyperpigmentation, aging skin, and overall skin health and rejuvenation. Susan finds true fulfillment in helping others achieve their skin goals through in-office medical grade treatments and customized home care regimens and in making others feel like the best versions of themselves. Susan values providing personalized service to each client in a safe and comfortable environment.
